It was the perfect fall day yesterday and somehow I was able to take pictures of all the kids.
There's always silliness when these two are together.
Will was trying to teach Maggie the Heisman pose. Funny !
Have a great weekend ! Chuck and I are going to the LSU game and I'm a bit nervous. At least we'll get some good alone time and lots of plantation tours. Maybe even some jambalaya ?
Will has had a minor, but painful accident today. Walker and Will were jumping on the trampoline and Will's front tooth hit Walker's head. His front right tooth is hanging and we are waiting to hear from the dentist. It is the SAME tooth he knocked out when he was one years old and the SAME tooth he knocked loose this spring during a baseball game. We are thinking it can't be saved and it will have to be pulled - it's his permanent tooth ! Please pray for Will. I know it is going to be scarry going to the dentist today. Thanks ! We will post an update soon. Kathy
Our big family birthday celebration for Maggie was Saturday and she was a little overwhelmed and still sick from a nasty cold. Her face says it all in this picture. She had no clue why we were all looking at her and singing. We blew out her candes for her and tried to get her to get messy with her cupcake. Maggie ate a little of her sprinkles, but no icing. She even gagged a little when I put some in her mouth. Oh well. Maybe she'll get the hang of it all by her third birthday. Her big present from us was a kitchen play set. Honestly, I was not sure how she would react to it. (Maggie is still delayed in some of her pretend play skills). But, to my suprise, she knew exactly what to do ! She opens the cabinets, stirs the pots, and is so busy with her kitchen. She loves it !!! She also got a shopping cart from her grandma and grandpa. She pushed that cart around the house for hours ! April 27th, 2011 was a day we will all remember. Not because we want to. There are 162 deaths confirmed in the state of Alabama and officials think the number will be rising. There are still search and rescue operations going on. Yesterday, I watched as a huge tornado went right through Tuscaloosa and barely missed Chuck's parents house and his brother's house. All we could do was watch in horror and pray. Then, we watched as the same tornado went through Birmingham and the surrounding suburbs again very close to where my parents and my brother's live. We watched and prayed and I was a basket of nerves. That night the storms reached our area, but thankfully went just to the north of us and we were spared. We did use our "safe room" two times when we went under a tornado warning. I was so proud of the boys as they knew exactly what to do and Maggie thought it was "fun" to wear her pink bike helmet. Join us in praye...
